My name is Curtis Poling, and I invite you to visit the new Proton Cancer Center facilities in Seoul Korea. Experience exotic Korea and tour the NCC PBT facilities as I have. My prostate cancer was treated 15 years ago with Proton Beam Therapy successfully. I have full confidence that Proton Beam Treatment is the BEST option for prostate cancer. Insurance approval to receive this PBT treatment was not an easy process. Perseverance in being my own patient advocate and finally overcoming insurance denials paid off. Since that time I have become passionate seeking out affordable PBT for underinsured, uninsured or expedient treatment process. The radiation oncology nurses at the Proton Therapy Center are committed to providing comprehensive patient care in a multidisciplinary setting. They collaborate with doctors, radiation therapists, nutritionists, social workers, and other specialists in the hospital.

Dr. Lee is specialized as Junior Clinical Step Radiologist.  He has succeeded Dr. Kwan Cho and oversees prostate and bladder cancers, adults' brain-nervous system cancers, head, and neck neoplasm cases.  Stated “NCC is now able to provide state-of-the art radiotherapy for cancer patients, including proton beam therapy, image-guided radiotherapy (tomotherapy), intensity modulated radiotherapy and three-dimensional conformal brachytherapy.   NCC Korea is playing essential roles as the national center in the fight against cancer through research, medical care, support for national cancer control programs, education and training. 

 Joo-Young Kim, M.D., Radiation Oncology Gynecologic Cancer, Pediatric Cancer at the proton center, says that proton therapy, which allows to save a lot of normal tissue, is important PBT treatment suitable for all children and adolescents, as they cannot be treated with x-rays because their central nervous system is not mature enough to counter the negative effects of radiation on healthy cells. Dr. Kim is the author of book titled "Treating Childhood and Adolescent Tumors with Proton Beam Therapy"

Honored the Scientific Award of International Journal, The Korean Society of Coloproctology.  Has considerable research experience  at the forefront of research into and application of proton therapy.  Including visiting scientist at Loma Linda Medical University a pioneer in proton therapy in the United States.  

Honored 'Young Investigators' award from The 14th International Conference on the Use of Computers in Radiation Therapy. Extensive background in proton therapy and visiting scientist at University of Michigan United States.
